Emilee Barnes

With years of experience in early childhood and dedication to the field, Emilee is a valued member of The OT Collective. Emilee has grown up in Gunnedah and continues to call this country town home with her young family.

Through her own personal experiences, Emilee understands the challenges families face in securing support and ensuring children feel a sense of belonging. She believes children should thrive, not just survive, and external support has helped her family develop positive strategies to support both of her children. While challenges remain, these strategies have made a significant difference.

She’s passionate about helping families and children in a more personal, meaningful way. With her background in childcare, her degree, and her own experiences, she’s eager to offer support that helps children and families feel more understood and empowered in their everyday lives.

She looks forward to getting to know each family and child, working alongside Annabel to provide the care and support needed.​
